The AirOne Flex from Hippomed is a rechargeable ultrasonic inhaler for horses, specially adapted to the needs of horses. According to Kerbl, the device was developed in close cooperation with veterinarians and horse owners and designed for horses with a lung volume of over 60 liters.

The innovative 2-chamber cold nebulization protects the inhalant from overheating, making it suitable for sensitive solutions. At the same time, the high nebulizer output of up to 15 ml/min, together with a particle size of 0.5 to 6 µm, ensures effective nebulization deep into the lungs.

For daily use in the stable, the AirOne Flex is particularly practical because it is battery-powered and can therefore be used independently of a fixed power supply. According to Kerbl, the integrated Li-Ion battery requires around 120 minutes of charging time and allows for an operating time of approx. 60 minutes.

The device is also designed for daily use in terms of handling: it operates quietly, the construction is impact-resistant and splash-proof (IP54), and cleaning is described as uncomplicated. The mask features a soft, flexible rubber seal, which is intended to ensure wearing comfort and reduce inhalant loss.
